How do I add my child's iPad or iPhone?

On your phone, open Kids, add your child, and a six-letter code appears. On your child's device, open the app, tap I'm a child and type the code. It works once and expires after 10 minutes.

My sign-in code didn't arrive.

Check your spam or promotions folder, and wait a minute before asking for a new code. Codes expire after an hour.

How do I turn notifications on?

On a parent's phone: Settings → Notifications. On a child's device: open the parents-only menu (the lock at the top), enter your parents' PIN, then Notifications. If you said no before, turn them on in the device's Settings app.

Can another parent join?

Yes, up to two. The parent who made the family opens Settings → Parents → Invite a parent and shares the code. The other parent signs in, taps Join a family and types it.

What is the parents' PIN?

A 4-digit PIN that children's devices ask for before settings, notifications, unlinking and the first use of the camera. Set or change it on your phone: Settings → Parents-only PIN. Forgot it? Just set a new one there. Until you set one, the device asks a maths question instead.

How do I unlink a device or remove a child's camera?

On your phone, open Kids, then the ⋮ menu next to your child.

How do I download or delete our data?

Settings → Your data. "Download a copy" saves everything the app keeps about your family. "Delete" removes your account, and for the parent who made the family, the whole family and its photos. See the privacy policy.

على هاتف أحد الوالدين: الإعدادات ← الإشعارات. على جهاز الطفل: افتح قائمة الوالدين (القفل في الأعلى) وأدخل رمز الوالدين ثم الإشعارات. وإذا رفضتها من قبل ففعّلها من تطبيق الإعدادات في الجهاز.

هل يمكن لوالد آخر الانضمام؟

نعم، حتى وليّي أمر آخرين. يفتح منشئ العائلة الإعدادات ← أولياء الأمور ← ادعُ وليّ أمر ويشارك الرمز، فيضغط الآخر «انضم إلى عائلة» ويكتبه.

ما هو رمز الوالدين؟

رمز من 4 أرقام تطلبه أجهزة الأطفال قبل الإعدادات والإشعارات وفصل الجهاز وأول استخدام للكاميرا. ضعه أو غيّره من هاتفك: الإعدادات ← رمز الوالدين. نسيته؟ ضع رمزًا جديدًا من هناك. وإلى أن تضعه، يطرح الجهاز سؤال حساب بدلًا منه.
